What a padel booking bot does (and doesn't)

Searches for padel bot mean two different things. Most people want what this guide covers: software that books a court on Playtomic the moment it opens. A smaller share means a ball machine, sometimes sold as a "training bot", that feeds balls for solo practice. That is hardware, and Padel Snipe does not make one.

What the bot does

• Watches the clubs you chose, at the time each club opens new days
• Locks the slot you set up as soon as it appears, then pays with the payment method saved on your booking account
• Tries your fallback courts or clubs in order when the first choice is taken
• Sends you the result by email: booked, or taken and what it tried next

What it doesn't do

• It does not guarantee the slot. If another player or bot locks the court first, the platform gives it to them.
• It does not book clubs on platforms it is not compatible with (Ten'Up, Padel Mates, MATCHi, ClubSpark).
• It does not change prices or cancellation rules: you pay the club price, and the 12 or 24 hour cancellation rule still applies.
• It does not hold slots for resale or share accounts. It books what you set up, in your name.
• It is not an AI. It is automation built on observed opening times, described below.

A bot is one of four ways to get a court at release time; booking by hand, platform alerts and club member windows are compared with it, limits included, in how to book a padel court when slots open.

A homemade script can do part of this, but you have to maintain it: re-authenticate, follow each club's rule, and fix it every time the platform changes its web front. Playtomic changed its booking flow in summer 2026; a managed bot absorbs that kind of change for you.

How it books: detection, lock, payment

Booking on Playtomic happens in three steps, and the speed that matters is between the first and the last.

1. Detection. The bot watches the club when its next day is due to open, in the club's own time zone, and sees the slot appear.
2. Lock. It starts the checkout immediately. On Playtomic, starting a payment holds the slot for you while the payment completes, so once the slot is locked, nobody else can take it.
3. Payment and confirmation. It confirms the booking with the payment method already saved on your account, through the same web checkout you would use, then checks the result.

Here are the numbers, measured on successful automatic bookings since 1 September 2026 (read on 22 October):

Over that period, Padel Snipe made 57 successful automatic bookings for 11 real users, all on Playtomic.

These times start when our system detects the slot, not when the club opens it: between the opening and the detection there is the time it takes to see the new day. We do not publish a success rate. It depends on the club, the slot and how many people want it, and any single figure would mislead.

When clubs open slots

There is no single opening time on Playtomic. Each club configures its own rule: how many days ahead, and at what time. On 5,834 active Playtomic clubs whose window we had measured on 24 October 2026:

• About one week ahead (6 or 7 days) is the most common window: 34.5% of clubs
• About two weeks comes next (21.3%), and 13.4% open four weeks or more ahead
• Most clubs we have classified open each slot at its own time (the 8 PM court at 8 PM, N days earlier): 54 of 74. Others open every slot at one fixed hour, most often around 8 AM local time

That is why a bot has to know each club's rule rather than fire at a fixed time. Padel Snipe records when slots appear at each club and schedules its watch on that time, in the club's time zone. Compatible platforms

Padel Snipe is compatible with three booking platforms. Our atlas lists 7,481 active clubs in 44 countries (measured on 26 October 2026):

All 57 automatic bookings measured since 1 September 2026 were on Playtomic. If you are not sure which app your club uses, our ranking of padel booking apps lists them by country. Is it allowed?

Short answer: nothing we know of in UK or EU law forbids automating a booking made with your own credentials on your own account. Playtomic's terms of service, as read on 24 September 2026, do not mention bots or scripts, but they let Playtomic suspend any account, which is the real risk to weigh.

Padel Snipe books only the slots you set up, under your own account, paid by your own payment method. You remain responsible for your account and for the club's cancellation rules. The clause-by-clause reading is in our article on whether a Playtomic bot is legal.

Setup in 2 minutes

Step 1: Find your club

Use the club search and type the club name or city. The result shows the club's platform and, when we have measured it, its opening window.

Step 2: Define your recurring slot

Choose:

• Day of the week (Tuesday 8 PM, Saturday 10 AM, etc.)
• Start time and duration (60, 90 or 120 minutes)
• Preferred courts if the club lists several (indoor, outdoor, panoramic)
• Fallback clubs in priority order (3 clubs per slot on Pro)

Step 3: Connect your booking account

Enter your Playtomic, Anybuddy or Playbypoint credentials. They are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage and decrypted only when a booking request is sent. Make sure a payment method is saved on that account: the bot pays with it, at the club price.

Step 4: Let it run

At each opening, the bot locks and pays for your slot, then emails you the outcome. There is nothing to redo each week, and no 7:58 AM alarm on a Sunday.

Bottom line

A padel bot does not create courts, and it cannot win every slot. What it changes is presence: it is there at every opening, locks the slot in under half a second after detection on the median, and confirms in about four seconds. If you play at the same club every week and keep losing prime time, that is the gap it closes.
