Playbypoint explained: how to book padel worldwide in 2026

While Playtomic and Anybuddy dominate padel in Europe, much of the world plays elsewhere — and often on Playbypoint (also known as paybycourt). Playbypoint in 2026: who, what, where

Playbypoint is first a club-management software for racket clubs, with a player-facing booking layer on top. Where Playtomic grew as a European community app and Anybuddy as a French multi-sport marketplace, Playbypoint developed on a different field: American and international clubs, often mixed padel-pickleball-tennis.

Geography. Playbypoint's strength is coverage where Playtomic and Anybuddy are thin or absent:

How to book on Playbypoint: the 4 steps

Step 1: Create an account

Download the Playbypoint app or go through your club's page. Sign up with email + password. You save a card on your account: it's used for all your bookings, with no need to re-enter it each time.

Step 2: Pick the club and sport

Select your club, then the sport — padel (or pickleball, depending on what you want). Playbypoint runs single-sport clubs as well as mixed clubs where padel and pickleball coexist.

Step 3: Choose date, time and court

Playbypoint shows slots by block (often 30 min), then the courts available for the chosen window. You see the price and duration, and can let the platform pick the court ("smart court selection") or choose a specific one.

Step 4: Pay and confirm

Payment uses the card already saved on your account. On most clubs there's no 3D Secure step to validate: the booking is confirmed and paid in one go, nearly instantly. You get a confirmation, and the slot shows up in your bookings with a cancellation option.

Payment and cancellation: what to watch

Playbypoint payment is direct: the saved card is charged at booking, through the club's processor (often CARD_CONNECT). It's smooth, but two things deserve attention:

• No free hold: a confirmed booking is a paid booking. There's no cancellable pre-authorization like on some platforms.
• Variable cancellation: each club sets its policy. Some refund to your card, others to club credit for later use. Read the club's rule before booking, especially for a slot you might cancel.
